THE INSTITUTIONS

The Indian Institute of Fashion Technology, Established in the year 2001, has been imparting professional training to the students. It has now evolved into a state of art, ultra modern and premier, multi disciplinary Training Institute in the core areas of Fashion and Apparel Technology and Management. IIFT till date has trained thousands of students in the area of Fashion & Apparel Technology including candidates sponsored by Govt. of India, Minister of Industries, SISI, Ministry of Defence, World bank aided projects. The Institute is located in Vijayanagar, which is in the heart of Bangalore city. IIFT has established 5 Branches in the Districts of Karnataka, namely Belgaum, Bijapur,Chamrajnagar, Hassan and KGF with the support of Govt. of Karnataka. IIFT is also conducting short term courses at the campus of associated colleges. The colleges are Maharani Lakshmi Ammani college for women-Malleshwaram, NMKRV college for women-Jayanagar and Vidhya Vardhaka Sanga College, Basaveshwaranagar.
